By using this website, requesting a visit or hiring us for work, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. If you have questions, call us before you book.
Our services
We repair, replace and install garage doors and garage door openers. We serve University City, Olivette, Clayton, Overland, St. Louis, Ladue, Richmond Heights, Brentwood, Creve Coeur, Webster Groves, Maplewood, Kirkwood, St. Ann, St. John, Maryland Heights, Rock Hill, Florissant, Ferguson, Vinita Park and Breckenridge Hills, Missouri. Whether we can take a job at a given address is confirmed when you call or book.
Scheduling and hours
We are open seven days a week: Monday to Thursday 7 AM to 7:30 PM, Friday 7 AM to 7 PM, and Saturday and Sunday 7 AM to 7:30 PM. Emergency garage door service is available after hours. Call us any time, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Same-day service is offered, but arrival times depend on the schedule, the weather and the work already underway. We will tell you what to expect when you call. Someone age 18 or older who is authorized to approve work should be present, or reachable by phone, during the visit.
Pricing, estimates and payment
We use flat-rate pricing. We will give you the price for the work before we start, and we will not begin the job until you agree to it. If we find something else that needs attention once we are on site, we will explain it and get your approval before doing any additional work.
We accept cash, credit card, debit card, check, Zelle, Venmo and financing. Payment is due when the work is complete unless we agree otherwise with you beforehand. Financing is subject to the terms of the financing provider.
Any offer shown on this website applies as described on the site and only until the end date shown. Offers cannot be combined unless the offer says so.
Parts, brands and work performed
We service and install many garage door and opener brands, including Clopay, Amarr, C.H.I. Overhead Doors, Wayne Dalton, LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie, Craftsman, Raynor, Overhead Door, Windsor Door, Sommer, Marantec, Ryobi, Linear and Stanley. Brand names are used only to show what we work on. Gateway Garage Doors is an independent business and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of these manufacturers.
We repair broken springs and openers with quality parts. Most repairs are completed in a single visit, but some jobs need a part that must be ordered, and we will tell you if that is the case. Any warranty on our work will be explained to you at the time of service.
Safety
Garage doors are heavy, and springs and cables hold a lot of tension. Please do not try to adjust, replace or release springs, cables or brackets yourself. If your door is stuck, off track or has a broken spring, stop using it and call us. You are responsible for keeping people and pets clear of the door and for telling us about any known hazards at the job site.
Cancellations and access
If you need to change or cancel a visit, please call us as early as you can so we can offer the time to someone else. You agree to give our technician safe and reasonable access to the garage door, the opener and the work area, and to clear stored items that block the work.
